Funders Online

In this workshop we'll show you some web sites containing typical funder information: the types of projects they fund, the amount of money available, deadlines for proposal applications. This US Department of Education Teleconference on Federal Funding Opportunities contains much useful information on identifying grants and writing proposals.

Online Searching

Then we'll take you to some WWW search engines and show you how you can search the Internet to find other funding sources.

You may need to use the Adobe Acrobat Reader to gain access to some documents bearing the .pdf file extension. This is a free reader that will automatically configure itself to your web browser.
